Ingredients
  • 2 oz Abstinence Cape Malt
  • 3 lemon wedges
  • 1 oz sugar syrup
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 2 oz soda water
  • Garnish: lemon zest or dehydrated lemon, and mint sprig

Directions
  1. Add the Abstinence Cape Malt, lemon wedges, sugar syrup, and mint leaves to a shaker.
  2. Muddle the ingredients to release the flavors.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
  4. Fine strain over cubed ice in an Aska highball glass.
  5. Top with chilled soda water, give it a light stir, and garnish with lemon zest or a dehydrated lemon slice and a sprig of mint.
