Cape Malt Brown Derby

Ingredients
  • 1½ oz Abstinence Cape Malt
  • ½ oz Abstinence Blood Orange Aperitif
  • 1½ oz grapefruit juice
  • ½ oz honey syrup
  • ¼ oz aqua faba, egg white, or cellulose (optional for froth)
  • Grapefruit twist for garnish

Glass: Coupe or martini twist

  • 1½ oz Abstinence Cape Malt
  • ½ oz Abstinence Blood Orange Aperitif
  • 1½ oz grapefruit juice
  • ½ oz honey syrup

Directions
  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker or jar with ice and shake hard for 15 seconds.
  2. Strain off the ice, remove the ice from the shaker, and pour the mixture back into the shaker.
  3. Shake again without ice (reverse dry shake) to create a creamy froth.
  4. Strain through a fine strainer into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
  5. Garnish with a twist of grapefruit.
